Hey.

I am currently in China studying, and I was wondering about UNL's paintball team...

Do they participate in the NCPA ? Do they travel? Does anyone know who I can contact about the team? Since I am in China, it is difficult for me to check on these things myself. When I get back in the summer of 2012, I am planning to pursue this more.

According to the appa website for the NCPA nationals this year they don't have a team entered.

The Nebraska University System's teams are on and off depending on who wants to do the work to run the teams.

I recently was contacted by one of the leaders of the team. He told me that he was leaving next year, and that he needed to hand the club down to someone.

I told him that I have played in PSP and know the NE paintball scene well, so he was telling me since I was the only person who seemed to have enough ambition to run a team and enter tournaments and get sponsors, that he may hand it down to me.

I guess when I return from China I will know more.

I'm currently a student at UNL and I'm very interested in starting another team. I've lived in Lincoln and know the scene pretty well, played with a local team for awhile. I know last year Drew tried to start it up, but I wasn't sure if he ever got it completely up and running. my brother and i have talked to the activities director for unl clubs and campus rec and have been given control of the club, we are working out the paperwork right now, it won't be going for this year because we are past the deadline since the old president didn't file the paperwork but it will be active next year. we will keep everyone posted when the status changes, we are working with carl and jake on this.
