unless .50 cal becomes the standard size for every company and tourney then it isnt. also there is very little .50 cal gear so if youu buy say a spyder .50 cal marker and you want to upgrade then you wont have many choices

Sharks have Feyd week.

Short answer no. Long answer has been given in thread after thread in the .50 cal section. Finally got to see it and it was not good. At distance that I could reach it was kind of lame. Lots of bounces. And if it did break I couldn't tell. Feyd..........

50cal sounds like fun sometimes since you'll have more paint on the field, although it still isn't really as popular. I would stick with 68 until every company starts coming out with conversion kits so then you can have the option if you have the right gun.

borrow it for a game or a couple of rounds just to feel how it works for you, although not all 0.5 would act the same try to estimate in the endgame what did it improve and what drawbacks happened due to low cal

I can get like 20 guns and hoppers for $300. Would it be worth it?

for that price i would, cus you could sell half of them to friends, and mod/chop the others into something cool. Put them in nerf gun shells or airsoft or something. especaly if they are spyder opus, which i would guess they were. Is a field selling their rental fleet? It would allso be fun just to have enough to through a big party somewhere with lots of friends.
