Which FIELD do you like better? NPPL or PSP?

PLEASE READ THIS FIRST: Hey guys, I am looking to get a full 44 bunker airball setup, and was wondering what FIELD you like better - NPPL or PSP? I don't want comparisons of 5man vs 7man, semi vs ramping etc. Just the field layout. The state of either league, popularity, or any other factors DO NOT APPLY HERE.

I want you to take bunker sizing, shapes, etc into consideration. NPPL tends to have more usable bunkers in the center, whereas PSP tends to have a lot more small lane blockers. Which of those 2 styles of FIELD do you prefer?

Try not to base your decision on anything other than the bunkers please. Refs and how an event is run have nothing to do with the actual field its self.

PSP bunkers will probably require less attention due to their generally smaller size. I would recommend making your decision based on the tournament focus in your area. If you plan on using these bunkers in an area dominated by PSP teams, get the PSP field. Likewise for NPPL.

So you like the PSP field setup better than the NPPL setup because "NPPL is going down the crapper soon"? The state of the NPPL has no bearing on what field layout you like more.

PSP, and the new snake bunkers are not impossible to play. the galveston PSP layout is one of the most fun layouts i have played in a while. Would u rather have carwashes, wedges, and cubes (NPPL) or the A, mini races, and interesting snake bunkers (PSP)

Also, like someone said before me you make want to think about which league you see doing well in the future... I am of the opinion that eventually we WILL be down to one Major league in the US.

I played in the NPPL last year and the layouts were fun. the bunkers were a little larger, they kept the bricks and carwash. but you cant say that you dont take playing style into account! NPPL bunker set was made with 7man in mind. PSP bunker set was made with the Race-to format in mind. PSP has smaller/more technical bunkers because your supposed to push and have another chance next point. NPPL has the larger bunkers and is made to play a little slower because things ride on every game you play. If there are no NPPL teams in your area it would be a waste to get that set. likewise for PSP. think like a businessman and make the smart decision based on your market.
