One of my friends has a new ecoboost f-150. Supposed to get 20 something MPG on the highway. He put a 6" lift on it and it now gets 13 mpg highway

Those ecoboost trucks get alot of ****, but I like the design. Granted you should never tow or lift those trucks merely because they dont have the power. But if you want to DD a truck and care about fuel mileage thats the way to go.

Tell him to regear or rethink his choice of vehicle.

I had 8.1 silvarodo z71 super cool nice truck used it to pull large power washing setup pulled it like it was nothin hooked to it, but it got 12mpg pullin and 12mpg unhooked so gas sucked but tons of power also my cousin has a 5.3 that does the job pretty good and get close to 20mpg highway also super nice trucks and both were 03s so. Honestly unless your pulling a 3000lb+ trailer the 5.3 is more truck then ya could need
