Few 2010 Ego Questions

Hey guys! I am getting a 1 of 2 Purple/White Vicious Ego 10. I want to know some questions about it! I have skimmed through the sticky`s and I have gained a lot of info! Here are some questions.

1) How many pods on average does a Ego 10 get on a 68/45?
2) What are the recommended settings for the smoothest shot on the Ego 10?
3) What is the BEST, TOP upgrade you can get for smoothness?
4) Can I get E-Portal software for the Ego 10?
5) What is the best oil for the Ego!? The included oil?
6) How do I re-set the board?

1) What tank size do you have?
2) Every gun is different follow a tuning guide.
3) Using it, there really are no upgrades for newer Ego's just replacement parts.
4) I don't believe it's compatible, you'd need to verify if it had the slot to plug in the eportal chip, but I don't believe it was an advertised feature for the Ego10
5) Any Paintball marker oil will do, I use the PE oil. Make sure you oil the rammer orings and use sl33k or another similar grease on the LPR and HPR orings.
6) unlock the tournament lock if it's set, go to presets, select load, select factory. - done.

1)depends on how you tune the gun

2) adjust the LPR so that the screw is flush with the rest of it, then screw it in about 2.5 rotations, then adjust the dwell. Depending on how fast you shoot the gun is how high you can make it. The higher the dwell, the lower the maximun rof the gun will have and the less air efficient it will be. The upsides are that the higher it is, the smoother and softer on paint it will be.

3) the two things i recommend buying are a tech t hush bolt, and a LPV for the rammer. The Low Pressure Valve will again sacrifice some air efficiency, but it will make the gun shoot smoother and softer on paint.

4) I dont think you can for the 10, the SLS has it though.

5) the included oil is fine. Dont use grease on the bolt (ie. hater sauce or similar)

6)driver j answered this

10 board has the eportal port but eportal software doesn't recommend the 10 board.
