G3 'leaking' air as trigger is pulled?

I don't own a G3, but my friend bought a used G3/IQ and he said it 'leaks' are through the trigger. He feels puffs of air as he pulls the trigger. It does not leak when he isn't pulling the trigger. The noid is brand new. I assume this is normal? However, he also said the bolt does not move. Any information would help.

sounds like he is having bolt stick. have him relube the bolt and try it again. as for the noid, its just venting that is normal

Cheers guys. He initially failed to tell me that he was using a tank with only 200 psi, so that's very likely why the bolt wasn't cycling.

that would definitely cause it to not cycle.
