Glad someone brought up the paint issue. So it wasn’t only us that thought the paint was horrible?! Worst I had ever had from WCPPL. I am glad the problems were addressed by Mike at the ceremony and hope they might not run into the same problem at the upcoming PSP event. At 2008 NPPL Commanders Cup, Dynasty gave away their entire allotment of “GAP” paint because it shot horrible and was extremely brittle. They turned around and bought “Ultra Evil” and won the event.
Paint is a very BIG part to this game as we all already know. Very expensive. For a league to require it’s participants to use their paint and ONLY their paint, I feel there should at least be a couple choices of grades to be purchased. Didn’t understand why the paint truck would only allow teams to purchase the 3star and saved the Gold for Sunday? Could only figure that they knew the paint was bad and wanted to get rid of it all. I’m sure they didn’t want to hall any of it back home with them all the way back to Canada! This was never a problem with the WCPPL in the past. Mike has always had sold some of the best paint products for OUTSTANDING prices. I was very happy with the last seasons event APX Fyre. Besides the quality of APX, it is a local business that I am happy to see grow.
I know this is a continued rant; but have always felt the WCPPL to welcome it’s players comments. They won’t know, unless someone says something, right? A league that is “for the players”, should be open to comments good and bad.
