Hey, I'm going to be out of the sport for 3 months due to travels, and I wondered if it is okay to keep pressure in my air tank for that time. I bled it out at the field last week, but one of my teammates refilled it for me without knowing that I had wanted it empty.

Currently it would be really inconvenient to empty it so I just wondered if it will be safe to leave it as is for 3 months?

Yeah it should be okay. It's actually better to leave some air in your tank. It keeps moisture from getting in it. I had about 1500psi in my tank for like 5 months and it was fine.

Thanks! Ended up emptying it just to be safe... but it will be well packed so hopefully moisture shouldn't be a concern.

you would really be better off leaving air in it, moisture can easily get in it, and that can cause corrosion in as little as 6 months.

Thats good to know. Thanks got the info. My buddy just blew a burst disc on a brand new tank. Could it have been from the store not storing it properly?
