Hey, wanted to see if anyone had any good info about this game, other than prices. Anyone know the guys that run this thing so we can get some good info on game setup? Their homepage is a little vague on details and the game's in two weeks...if i'ma drive from 3 hours or more away, I'd like some game details...

I'll be going to this as event as well... What all do you need to know?
Game starts at 10am (briefing is at 9:15), will last until 5pm, with an hour lunch break (1pm). They'll have food there. Some scenario teams are playing and is also open to the public (walk-ons). Last I heard, close to 100 players will be playing, so you may want to get there early. It's goin to be a lot of fun... worth the drive.

Yeah, what's the gist of the scenario? I understand the whole terrorist, counter terrorist thing, but any more details available? I'll prolly be coming with at least one other guy, we've been playing together for years so we do well together.

Field isn't bad, lots of holes and roots since I played there last. We are going with a few guys that have never played there, just be careful of where you walk.
Parking from what I remember is a headache so if ya want a good spot get there early.

The scenario details haven't been officially released yet, but is basically like this... one team will act as terrorist and have to acquire several pieces to make a bomb and then use it. The other team will act as a coalition force to try to stop the terrorist.... blah blah blah. It's all kinda the same. There will be added surprises throughout the day, twists in the story, I'm sure. These guys that are running it, play scenario games all over the U.S., so they have a good idea of the way it should go.
I'll be there painting faces, so make sure you come by and see me. ; )

I know they expanded but did they do anything to the field?
I was a Biloxi River Pb last year and thought the field was not very impressive.

They say expanded, then say closed do to rain, no telling until Saturday. Just like old times at Biloxi river.

They did expand it, but it being located on the Biloxi River (hence the name), certain areas may be flooded out from all the rain. But like "Memnock" said, we'll know for sure on Saturday. They've cleared out more trails and redone some of the open areas with the bunkers. The field might lack some of the cool fortified bunkers, but with over 100 people playing... it's still going to be a blast (pun intended)! Oh, and did I mention landmines? ; )

How was the black rain scenario game & how's the expanded field????

Fun mostly. Bush wookie galore towards the end. I shot a lot of people in the back then. Bayou Mafia, Titans, and mercs kept about 80% of the field for roughly 80% of the day. Points matter though. We lost on points but won on objectives. *shrug*

Matters of overshooting, cheating, blindfiring, etc were no more than you would expect of any tourney or scenario. Great players all round.

Can't comment on expanded field. First time I've been there.

The expanded field was cool, but most of the fights didn't happen there. The scenario was a lot of fun. Some good ballers played along with some fairly new ones. Met a lot of people and everyone enjoyed it.

Side note: faces were definitely painted that day! *fist pump*
