D2 will be 3 brackets of 6 teams each. I would do it but not clear on how to determine the rank of teams with some still playing d2 again, D3X bumping up and even D3 5man teams etc. I guess that is where the bleeding starts?

just got a question on how are you making these brackets.. are you guessing on the ranks of the teams that you dont have or are you adding up some sort of points from the players of those teams?

Deimus is rarely wrong from what I have seen in the past. All the info is out there on rankings (pspevents.com) and then using 2012 PSP rulebook and some math skills and knowledge it is possible to do this. It is never fool proof and just a very good possiblity until PSP actually releases the real brackets along with the schedules.

Thanks for that but I will concede to not being perfect. I have definitely made mistakes with brackets before, especially in the D2 and D3 divisions, where it is sometimes hard to determine "new teams" to the division.

For instance, I know in this case, I probably messed up teams that have competed in affiliate leagues, like Coalition and Overhead, as well as potentially mistaking the rankings of Scottsdale Elevation (who last competed in 2010 Phoenix PSP) and PBV (who despite being a reoccurring face in the PSP, is a completely new team this season).

On the D2 bracket, i thought i'd put this out there as well because people might be asking:

when there are 6 teams in a bracket, #1 doesn't play #6. #2 doesn't play #5. And #3 doesn't play #4.
