I think that would be a bad for a few reasons...
1. Israel would have to make some pretty hard core separation of church and state laws to keep from democraticly becoming a Islamic theocracy as the jewish people would become a minority in Israel.
2. Israel would also have to increase it's internal security 1000% because you would have a bunch of Muslim Israeli citizens who would be VERY unhappy Israel wasn't a shia law country and would conduct terrorist attacks to make it so.
3. Israel would have to change its military as well. Currently everyone has to serve in the military, I have serious doubts that Muslim Israeli citizens would fight and defend Israel against its Arab neighbors if mandatory service extended to them as well..

The entire anti-Israeli strategy is to provoke Israel and scream bloody murder when they retaliate, with the intention of turning the international community against them despite Israel being entirely justified in their actions. i don't think there is an alternative to the status quo. a nuclear israel will never fall.

Cowardice. Remember that flotilla incident where it broke the blockade and got raided by Israel? In the aftermath, Turkey demanded an apology. When did international politics become high school?
