In all my years at Cup events I never once saw a fight. I went to NHIS every year since it opened in 93, and twice a year when they started the Sept. race. I went to Daytona in 96, Charlotte for the All Star race in 93 and 96, and my dad went to Dover 8 years in a row and Atl 3 years in a row and never saw a fight. Thats kind of disappointing to hear.

I don't mind the turn it up as much, because it's pretty wild to hear on a surround sound system, but I realize it's just a marketing gimmick. The actual "Digger Cam" is cool, great track view, but making a little character out of it? I'll be consistently bothered by that throughout the season.

And Danica makes her return, heres to hoping she can go more than 2 clean laps without a crash this time!

A fight between fans or drivers? Fans yea I have seen them in atl and daytona, atl more though both outside tailgating and occasionally in the stands.

i was at Daytona the year after Earnhardt died, on the third lap everyone did the 3, one guy didn't and someone nicely was like hey man thinking he didnt know. He responded with "**** him, he was a ***** and **** driver" went on between him and several fans. A mins later the whole stand was about to jump him and someone grabbed a security guy, filled him in on the situation and they shuffled the guy out fearing a full fight.


The cam is a good angle and have seen some wild views when people come sliding by it, but yea to make it the character and when they do the stories with his family and crap. Come on.

I don't recall seeing any fights either. I remember some guy yelling at someone during the national anthem for not taking his hat off.

hahaha, well thats just trailer trash being trailer trash, but I've never seen a fight where two people argued about drivers and it escalated to a fight. Not even when the Gordon/Earnhardt Sr. rivalry was raging. Well, the rivalry among fans was raging, not the drivers.

biffle keeps pulling up to break the tops moment, i have a feeling he will block if it comes to it. sucks for terry, ambrose got into enough to losen him up then hit him in the left when he came back down.
