had a great time at RT today. lil cold at first, but got warmer once we started playing. some guy in a bday party lost his wedding ring but decided to keep playing and look for it later, lmao!

also, PAP in taneytown, md has been doing speedball practice weekends for $10 entry/air and $32 cases. i believe they typically do 5-man. if anyone is interested in going down for a weekend lmk

and....march 25th there is a 3man tourny in ohio. $15 early reg, $25 late reg, $45+ cases......who wants to go??

yup. plus that other thread wasnt even on the first few pages when this was created and different people are talking about different fields in each. so...yea...dont see what the big deal is


anyway. i'll be at roundtop sunday as long as its not super cold. gotta get some practice in. 3 of us are going to the SEEDS 3man tourny at dimension paintball in ohio on march 25. its only $15/team if you register before the 14th. $25 if reg by the 23rd. lmk if anyone else is interested and maybe we can arrange carpooling

I see 7 pages, not 13. - and the Sou-Cen PA ballers thread is usually in the top 20 threads - I make sure of it, because I monitor my threads every week. It's all good. Just realize you're only getting half the conversation you would normally because there are regulars over at the other thread that haven't ever posted over here.

Nice. I haven't been to RT since '97... How are their fields? Nice & dry? Or swampy & wet? From my experience, WP tends to be swampy, especially a day or two after a rain, and Linglestown's are half & half. Their close-in fields are nice, even after rain, their farther away fields get kinda mucky after it's rained. I was actually at a field in NY that it rained during the games we were running, and you could hardly tell. We were under some really tall trees, and the games just kept going. "The War Club" in Rome, NY.

we mostly play on the speedball fields, sometimes woodsball. fields usually arent to bad but they can get pretty muddy at times. just gota wear cleats

When I was there last, they used to put down wood chips to help with the mud. Did they stop doing that?

there is some in a few spots, would be better with a thick dirt or something, wood chips arent the most desirable thing to dive into
