So guys I have a question. Being that I very recently got into the whole photography thing, Is a mirror lens a good decison? I have a 200 dollar gift card to amazon that i got for Christmas and i need a lens for longer range stuff. Good idea?

Wait until you save more for better glass then try 70-200 f4, cheapest good range lens u can get IMO.

just bought a 200 2.8L. debating whether or not to sell my 70-200 f4L. i'm thinking that i should hold onto it for at least a little while just in case i need the mid range of it.
