APX paint questions!
I am about to order some APX paint, maybe 6 cases. I'm looking at probably the agro basic or pro. I'd like to try fyre sometime but I really need to try and stay on the lower end although I know it is great for the price! Is there a big difference in the performance? If it's a pretty good improvement I don't mind spending a few extra bucks for it. So my question is is there a difference big enough to spend an extra bit of cash for the pro? I'm looking for something that flys very straight(Biggest factor), is fairly bright(Nothing spectacular), I'd prefer a bright shell, and with decent breakability(At least around formula 13 or so). If it matters I am playing woodsball in north texas(35-60 currently) and this will be shot through a couple spyders('05/'09 pilots and mr1s) and dm7-9. The smallest bore barrel is going to be a .682(Mine) and largest a .693. If you can compare it to formula 13, premium, or marbilizer that would be great! I liked all three and they were all reasonable fresh. Formula 13(pink)was my previous go to paint.

I would go with Agro pro. It will serve you well for woods ball. Bore size won't really matter too much unless it is below freezing or the paint is awful. Apx paint is typically on point

Went ahead and ordered 3 cases of pro last night. Will do a full review and grab some pictures if I can.

Great! I was satisfied with apx a while back but haven't ordered more since changing the shell/fill. Wasn't too thrilled with the change in quality

used apx paint for the first time 2 years ago, shot really really good..

Switched to valken graffiti last year because of how bad the apx was...

oh yay is midnight not around anymore? Walmart/dicks has nothing, I havent tried sports authority or academy yet. I really need to find something for about $40. I used to be able to get premiums for that, got deals at my local field until the army corps of engineers kicked them off the land. I still have my fingers crossed on the apx though, maybe they listened to their feedback. I'll do a full review either way though for an update.

funny because I feel the exact opposite.
used APX for a long time. got gifted a couple boxes of Graffiti and Redemption, thought it was complete crap.
went back to apx and since their newest shell/fill have been more satisfied then ever.

I was using Pro yesterday. Fairly impressed with it. I couldn't find any dimples, the seam was minimal, fill was bright. Wasn't incredibly hard, but wasn't so brittle that it broke if you looked at it wrong.

Funny, I used apx for 2 years and last year the stuff was so bad that i was selling it to broke kids for 30.00 a case and that was the pro version...
Consider yourself lucky if you have been getting good paint.
The other day i took out one of my markers and had 4 month old graffiti paint and redemption still in one of my containers, stuff still was not dimpled and shot just like i bought it..
I guess everyone can have bad experiences with different paint, while you will still support apx paint, me and a crap load of people that shot the apx paint i got last year will probably never buy it again...
Btw: customer CS with APX was superior, I have no issues with their CS
just wish they went back a couple of years and had it made that way..
whatever they changed last year or who they have making it, took a HUGE step back..
