Thinking about joining the AKA fam

Ive always been someone that wants to compete and shoot rare or not seen often guns. First time I brought my quest to the field the gun tech said wtf is that?
So my question to you is
1) Would viking fill my rare yet competitive needs
2) how is the maiteneince on the gun?

Yup it will satisfy your criteria very easily. Get use to people asking you, "Is that an angel?" and laugh.

Maintenance, putting 3 drops of oil before each day of play is all it needs. 5 years later, the same 3 drops of oil and go play (change battery of course).

Some people may disagree its probably more than that to be on the safe side after 5 years, but I've seen it personally done with another friend of mine guns, all sat for 4-5 years and they all aired up and shot with zero leaks. Simply amazing.

Yes, they definitely will fit into that niche. As long as it's well tuned when you buy it (and you don't tinker with it), a drop or two of oil in the asa before playing with it, and making sure it has a fresh battery is all the maintenance it'll need. If it does need service when you buy it, you'll likely have to mail it to Destructive Customs as most shops don't have the tools to properly work on them. Be careful those, as buying them can become quite addictive.
