Regardless of whether it's 9/10 or not, it looks like a 50 dollar i4.

The white/black i4 he linked is more than he paid, if I recall correctly.

The mask is dirty, but it was also cheap. If I'd gotten the black i4s I'd have replaced the lens and given them a good wash, then gone out and gotten them nasty again on the field.

As long as there's no major damage to the mask (other than the lens, which was mentioned prior to purchase and Smaw even says to disregard), I fail to see a real issue here.

My issue is that it was misrepresented when describing the condition of the mask as they stand. Yes, I purchased the mask for $50 but with the notion that they were in better shape as they stand. I don't think I have to wash them just to get them to the state that the seller originally described the condition to be.

Honestly the mask as a whole is in very good condition / per the $50 price tag, do you have any visibility issues while viewing through the lens ? If not, once it is cleaned up you actually got a good deal.

Clean them off and if there are noticable scratches and scuffs(IMO there will be) under all the filth. Then take pics and post the pics of how u received them and then after cleaning them and post in the talk to mods forum and try to get your money back.

If it's a deal seemingly in your favor then you're over estimating what's coming. It's used gear being described by kids on the Internet. Everything has been sent to me requiring cleaning with few exceptions. Next time ask for better pictures

So once again he is saying that it is ok to lie about condition as long as you sell your stuff cheap. So if i sell you a gun for cheap and tell you it works great and when you get it you realize it leaks and has a blown noid you wouldnt even be mad? Remember it was in your favor?

anyone in this thread that says its a 9/10 is completely retarded.....put them on the do not trade list. 9/10 means nearly brand new (including the lense condition)

I wouldnt have paid more than $30 for that pos. He cant leave you a negative feedback, talk to the mods they will remove it.

So if I sold you a pair of i4s for $20 stating they were new but then took a dump on them youd be ok with it cause you paid $20? It makes no difference what the price was/is, you have to state the condition honestly.

I had the exact same thing happen to me with some I4's about a year ago. I left the kid negative feedback. Sucks when people misrepresent what they are trying to sell.

Then that kid should be at fault. It shouldn't be a matter of, "oh well no big deal you should do this next time as a buyer" , **** NO. the seller caters to the buyer, because in reality the buyer has final say in weather or not the item is or isn't up to standards. This guy could do a lot more then he has done because the guy LIED TO HIM ABOUT THE CONDITION, nobody gives a **** what he did or didn't pay for it, or weather the pics showed enough detail, the idiot said it was 9/10 condition when clearly it was not, even after he scrubs it for 2 or 3 hours in mineral spirits, it will still have scratches, stretched strap and ****ty foam WHICH IS NO 9/10 condition. So the seller is at fault, END OF STORY.

Give the dude a refund, it's as easy as that. He CAN leave you negative feedback. You can try to leave him negative, but if he posts pictures of him saying he will pay you, and then a picture of the payment receipt (which i'm sure he would if he had to), then the feedback will be removed from his account and you will probably receive a warning or infraction or something for fraudulent feedback.

I'd be pissed if I received something like that. A buyer should always clean the gear or at least state that the gear is as is and will be dirty. Did he have pictures? I'm guessing if he did, they were clean in the pictures?

Either way, the negative feedback is pretty lame. Talk to an admin and get that removed.



Edit: I just went to the thread, and yep, the i4's look clean and in much better condition. I would be equally pissed as you are now.

you paid $50? i'd replace the lense and give them a good bath and be happy as hell. i usually replace the lense first thing when i get a used mask anyways.
