I say we send that into psp and them for rules next year? Only problem would be if they try and use it for trade outs

Refs were... meh... not up to standard in my opinion. I know this is said about every event but damn... What happened to having a full psp ref staff this year?

That's for the actual series, not the indoor. Reffing was fine, people make mistakes, it happens. Just play better and don't leave it up to the refs to decide.

the 5man was ok as far as reffing goes. but the pump at the end of the day had refs on their phones, or just not on the field. I understand it was a long day but that's the job.

What day are you talking about? There were actually multiple psp certified reffs on saturday. Apoligies for missed calls if you are referring to saturday, did my best.

Actually my job is a Maint manager. I drove 7.5 hours and reffed for almost nothing... not that I was forced into this, I wanted to help out. At 10pm at night which you are referring to, we were litterally falling asleep on the field. We tried to let the pump guys more or less police themselves, as thats what we kept being told they wanted.
Regardless, I wont make excuses, if we mistook that request, my fault. I dont want to get into another thread (like pops up after ANY event regardless of reffing) I apoligize for ****ty reffing at that point if thats what you thought. I can assure you I was trying my best at that point, I will try harder next time.
/*****ing about reffing

Actually not a job, more volunteer... And as stated previously at the request of the pump players you were mostly reffing yourselves. These guys were on field 14 hrs for you and 100% of your ridiculously cheap entry was returned in prize money. Seriously? If you have a complaint it's because I wanted every team possible to get a chance to play paintball and allowed too many teams to play. My bad...

I was just giving my opinion. I am speaking for myself and not my team. As far as the scheduling goes, next time maybe cap the number of teams so it doesn't get so far behind. The entry was cheap and I appreciate that. I would have also played if it was a little more expensive. I did not expect all the money to go to the prize pool. In PSP, we get entry to another event so this was definatly unexpected. When I play, I play to have a good time with my brothers. I would rather my entry money go to the ref staff and administrators to have a quality event. I would also think you would be more open to feedback to make your events run better in the future. Again, this is all just my opinion.

I get that and most would agree I could use an Internet filter... Just can't afford one lol. Just pointing out the fact that you are complaining about self refing when in fact that's exactly what the pump players came up and asked for several times before Pump kicked off.
Yes we ran a hybrid format, no we really didn't know exactly how the timing would go and yes we could have told a few teams to stay at home. Sorry

I don't take the criticism personally honestly. We were past tired and were not at 100%. I think both you and I would agree on that. We tried to take turns at the end, which just made us more tired from sitting around. I think we all know it went longer than exspected and we were not prepared for a 14 hour day on little to no sleep, lesson learned.
I don't have much else to say on that. Let's move on.

I appreciate all of your hard work (and the hard work of all the other refs and administrators). Whether calls were missed or made correctly 100% of the time, they were the calls on the field and that's what we accept. Thanks. We had a lot of fun.
