Hey guys,

I'm new to the area, and have been out of the paintball scene for about a year now. From what I can tell SCP is the place to play and I had a few questions for you guys.

-For a walk on tournament style player what's the best day to show? Sat/Sun and what time do people actually start playing at? I saw the field opens at 9am, but if play doesn't really start until 11...know what I'm saying?
-Is it easy to walk on to some tournament style games or rotate in on the team games?
-What type of paint is sold? Cost per case?
-Military discount?

I've got the time to really start playing again and would love to get up there every weekend. I was playing at Pendleton down in San Diego on a D4 team before I left for a deployment and am now up in Monterey. Would love to work on my game and get serious, maybe bump to D3. Right now, I'm recovering from a little medical issue and probably won't be able to come up until the end of the month or so, but am just looking for the info. Also, anyone have a store in the general area (including San Jose) that they really like going to and just seems to have everything a tournament player would want?

Yea it was hard trying to get use to my gun so I didn't play all that much. Plus my mask kept fogging. But got a pair of profiles now

Did sum1 change the WCPPL layout to PSP??? That ain't right cuz WC is around the corner and we were gona do drills this Sat..

No.... They shouldn't have cause we don't even have the PSP bunkers. And the Galveston layout didn't come out til this after noon. And I would've been told if it were to change.

The field is messed up due to walk-on players and such. Jordon as assured me that he will fix it. Please thank Jordon when you can as he is the ONLY ref who goes out and makes sure these bunkers are in place and taken care of.

hey guys, i'll be there sat, i've been out of the paintballin thing for about 6 years but i played from the time i was 12 till i was 16
i just bought an ion with the virtue board idk theyre any good but seems like everyone and their mom has one and i dont have 800 for one of those fancy bob long guns
i need a timmy though for real or something decent for my pops to use if u got something for around 300 let me know

SCP is open from 9am to 5pm.

Walk-on Self-Equipped Players tend to show up between 10am and 11am.

I'll be there on Saturday. First time playing again in over a year, looking forward to it! Now just got to get the '05 ego out of the bag and make sure this thing still works, hopefully I'll remember how to shoot!
