I called the other day and left a msg. wanted to see how customer service is doing. No call back yet. i'll keep you posted. Just fyi...I would get a call back from Mary that afternoon or first thing the next day, without fail. I'll let you know how this goes-it'll be my pulse of the "new direction" of the company.

all that and a bag of chips...Addy made me
If you make something idiot proof...someone will make a better idiot.
Just in case anybody is confused....a few years back ANS Gear conned a bunch of us and sold us fake Myth regs (Don't tell me I have my stories mixed up....I was one of the customers who got conned and I have the invoice stating "Guerilla Air Myth Regulator" to prove it). Without anybody asking him to, Dan Colby stepped up and offered to replace the knock-offs with genuine product FREE OF CHARGE.
Dan Colby and his crew were the ones escorted out by armed guards.
Don't support Guerrilla Air now that Dan Colby is gone.
Negative sir. thats customer service, and factory warratny. a pissed off customer is not a returning one, you help em out once (e.g. give em a free replacement or fix there stuff) they will come back, make up some bs about how its not under warranty or what ev, and you lose that customer, although it might mean u just lost money, u get it back in teh future. ninja has sent replacement parts all the time when i had an issue and i love em for that. and guess what no charge. now if he did it for everyone and every occaison then maybe, however servicing tanks and replacing them is part of customer service. it is too hard to prove user error or defect by factory so to actually earn the customer back, u help them out once or twice, then start to explain the rules.
No. it's not. You don't give people things for free that are not covered by the warranty. thats theft. You aren't allowed to do that. Trust me. You think joe breaks his laptop and gets another for free if he didn't buy the warranty? No, hell no. That's horrible business. Everyone should just get over this, this is another SP. Just don't support them, best to not even bring it up so the company name dies.
sorry dawg. "great guys" don't have employees fired, then barred from even collecting personal items.
Sorry "dawg" John didn't have any of those things done. I am clearly stating although I am sorry what happened to Dan and others, John will be perfect for for GA and he will easily keep this company growing.
Great people get fired/let go in all of business. GA felt they needed to make a change to stay in business and to turn a profit. It always sucks when someone loses a job for no reason other than the corporate dollar.
But such is life and we must all move on to the next phase of life. Remember there are millions of people out work right now. Shouldn't boycott a company just because they let a handful of people go. If you did that then 95%* of companies you buy from today (outside of paintball) would be boycotted.
Then what do we do? We have to be rationale. If they sell a crap product or customer service is terrible. I get that. But letting go a few people shouldn't dictate that (just my humble opinion).

I'd have to agree Jimi, and will also concede that there are exceptions where I'd consider a boycott based on employee termination in extreme circumstances.
for example company's that knowingly use "temp" workers as permanent employess keeping them on till their contractual/mandated maximum and then terminating them before they have to legally supply them with benefits, and then hiring a new batch of workers to do the same thing.

Look at technology companies. I've worked for two rather large ones. I've also been a contractor for nearly 6 years. There's a limitation because if Microsoft employees.
They decided after 18 years of contracting (ie higher paid) and not getting stok options, bonuses or benefits that they would sue them. Thus the contract limitations were born.
There's nothing dirty about that. As long as its known upfront. I've fed my family for sometime and I can't complain.
With that said. I do not own a ga product and never have. I am brand loyal and a huge fan of another organization. Just throwing that out there.

Hmmmm...I love Myth regs. I sure hope GA isn't going in the dumps.
When a company cuts the throat of a partner when he asks where is the money going. Locks him out of his office and take's all of his data off his hard drives and then refuses to release them or any other items that were in the office I'd call that the dumps. The next step was to cut short term overhead so instead of getting rid of one maybe two useless overpaid deadweight management members they got rid of all the warehouse staff from a centrally located shipping facility and closed it. Sounds like the dumps to me or more so management that is pushing it there .

screw GA for doing this. I have bought many myth regs and tanks from them...but now will be taking my business elsewhere. I hope the business goes down the tube just like smart parts.
Be on lookout for a name change to try to stay in the game.
Alot of people these days especially in America can relate to this situation. With unemployment being high these days, I think everyone knows someone who is a great, honest, person, lose their job. It is pitiful a company would eliminate the backbone of the company.
We're all sad to see Dan and company split from GA. Many of us have known Dan and Larry for a very long time. My first air system was an Air America Fred Schultz signature series and I remember Larry playing with Thunderstruck back in the day.
Hopefully they can work it out and come to an amicable solution.

No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
If you don't like something, say why instead of just calling it ugly, lame, gay or any other name. If it is old, simply post a link or report the post with a link to the older News thread.
Please don't post links for places to buy items. That encourages stores, sponsored players and other people to do it and spam the site.
