Thoughts on the new snake?
There was a video of Damage's practice this past weekend focusing on the new snake. While it was interesting to see how they learn it, and coach their snake players, there wasn't much insight into how it plays.
You guys got a chance to play it this past weekend. How was it? Any big changes you have to make? Is it necessary to have a more tactical coach on the sideline to guide the snake players now?

I never made it into the snake myself but my job most of the day was to keep ppl out, and i can say at least on this layout once they are past the inital part were they slid in its very hard to find them again from across the feild, very crowded on that side. It is a bit smaller and so yeah u have to crawl alittle lower, but at the same time the amount of bunkers over there makes is seem at least from were i was to be a relativly smooth transition from the old beems its my hope that they start to get less and less crowded on the snake side once ppl start getting used to the new bunkers.

the snake for TX is ok. not the best and not the worst. it is def entertaining because there are so many bunkers and no knuckles so everything is a surprise.
that being said i am in no way a fan of the new snake bunkers. they are too low so a normal sized person will never feel comfortable in them.

Yea, I think it's the first time in about 3 years I have actually crawled in the snake on my belly lol. It was a bit confusing and crazy in it. I think if the race was at the 50 instead of that little cake it would have been a bit easier to play haha. I am by no means a big kid but I felt huge in that thing.
