also sometimes the loader will effect the performance of reballs, i know my rotor HATES reballs, bu my halo v35 doesnt have a problem at all with em.

The biggest thing is to have clean reballs, like mentioned above^.
It'll affect everything from the way your loader feeds them to the way they shoot. My prophecy and rotor won't move dirty reballs at all, but once clean my prophecy doesn't have many issues but the rotor is still finicky.
They are dirty, a cheap barrel may help prevent wear in the bore.

Mine have generally been smaller than a regular paintball, by about 0.10". Plus they are made of a rubber so they tend to rub more and grip on to surfaces more so than paint.

I'd take the prophecy over the rotor unless you like to shark fin a lot. Honestly, my best loader for reballs has been my Eggy2. So eVLutions, Pinokios, V-Maxs, and other impeller fed loaders are probably your best bet.

You can shoot reballs out of any gun! Just make sure they are clean and some need to be lightly lubed.

Buy a cheap barrel that you don't care if it gets messed up. Reballs can be dirty and scratch your barrel. My rotor doesn't have problems with them. Then again I only tech guns after maintenance. I'm not ripping. Lol

I use a cheap 8" cocker barrel. Maybe worth $10 bucks, if that.

If there is grit and debris on the reballs, then there is the possibility that some could get caught in there and wear the breach some. I haven't had any but I don't use my reballs too often other than for teching.

never had a problem with reballs. pick up a fasta for a hopper(rotors and v1/2 propecys have trouble), halos will work ok, still jamming tho. reballs have never scratched my barrel. you'll be fine

Your bolt does more damage than a reball.
