Not only can you pick out tons of colors/designs to add to your grips, but the grip tape seems to be tougher than what APS provided.

This doesn't seem to lose adhesion in heat or cold like the stock flypaper. It also seems to be thicker.

Sure it is kinda a pain to cut out, but a whole sheet of deck tape would probably last most people a lifetime with their angels.

I'm not even halfway through a sheet, and I have enough grip panels cut out to replace both sides 14 times! The sheet was only $5.99, and that is less than MSRP on one set of fly paper.

If you haven't looked into this for your fly grips, you should.

A buddy of mine actually suggested that to me when the A1 Fly was released. I've only had my Fly since last June and haven't used it enough to wear out the grip tape but I'll definitely try the deck tape when they need replacing.

Yep it was too simple of a project. I had trashed paper on Max's 1of1 A1 Fly when I got it and it was a slap in the face, make it better! So of course I had to. And yes the deck tape even feels better. But it was a ***** finding it in leopard print.

Yea it works great if you look around online you can find some pretty good prices and colors.
