Hi all,

Basically im going to try and hide the macroline in the grip of my G-1, the main issue im having is choosing what asa to go with. my first thought was one from an invert mini but then i thought about the one from the tippmann phenom - seems perfect to me.

so my question is, will the phenom asa screws fit perfectly with the fitting on the G-1? are they spaced the same as the g-1's

this is all hopefully for a much bigger mod i've got in mind but i need to know if its going to be worth it first.

Yes, it should work, most asa's are pretty much standard, unless you get a dovetail style that needs a dovetail rail or a Spyder, that has offset rails. I would guess you would be fine. My question is, how are you going to route the line in the grip if the other end is on the bottom of reg outside the G-1 ?

ah well the regs going in the little hole under the barrel, seen a lot of people mod it that way, then i'll be sticking a weaver rail where the reg used to be and i'm going to attach a box mag....but first i need to get the asa sorted

I don't think there is much room inside the grip for such a project...

.....post #206 of the SP1 picture thread shows it has been done, Jackel411 (who created the above photo) said he used a hard line to make the connection to the ASA but I imagine macro line would work just as well. I did ask if I could get some pics of the internals but didn't get a response
