Okay, there seems to be a lot of interest between the forums, as well as locally. The shens really wanna do this but there are still some logistics that need to be worked out with the field. Regardless if it does happen the rules will be similar to the NPPL pump format, only it will be a 3 man. Open class, if you have to pump it it should be fine. More standard rules will come as the event develops. as long as its not a pneumatic pump (if you dont know what it is don't worry about it lol). The choice for 3 man unlimited paint is being made because it is much easier to regulate and we do not really want to step on the gravity league's toes (down at yankee paintball).
We are really hoping to get all this straightened out in the next few weeks so we can set a date and spread the word. Lets bring pump back to area!

Too bad Randy that dye doesn't make a pump gun... 
You could buy an old dye autococker pump and use that I know someone who has a beautiful one. |

We would love to do a 4v4 or 5v5, but the decision was made for 3 man due to NEPL, a very large well known and centrally located series got very little 5 man pump response, and when they did 3 man the response was really good. As well as the other local pump tournies have been 3 man, and very successful. If the events this year go well, and there is a large response, there may be 4/5 man in the future. Either way, pump play is great fun regardless of format, and not too expensive either!
