Geo2.1 Sputtering, and short cycling. HELP.
When I shoot it, it short cycles like there is bolt stick or I am running out of air/low velocity. I checked the bolt and everything is as it usually is. dwell is 12.5 and I have no idea what is going on.
ALSOOOO...
The macro fitting that goes into the POPS broke off suddenly and I am having a hell of a time finding a place to order them.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You may nnwd to contact planet on this one. I rember reading somewhere that the fittings have different threading than commercially available ones.

Well, if it's not leaking anywhere, some basic stuff to look at would be a fresh battery, service the reg (hell, disassemble the whole gun and service it), and try a different tank.

Check your bolt O-rings (Make sure the right sizes are in the right grooves), Inner can O-ring, and the 14x2 Propshaft O-ring. I changed these out and my marker immediately started working immediately. Just because it isn't leaking doesn't mean the O-rings are fine.
New battery.
I would check the noid only after checking those items out. Then check to see if the back check ball is clean and can rattle a little bit in the solenoid. Clean the filter.

I also change the oring on the front of the bolt (kind of drawing a blank at work at specific name)
Seems to have been working fine when I did that. I will go through the solenoid thursday and see if that improves the leak.
THANK YOU ALL

I'm having the same problem with a geo 2 though. I have cleaned a lubed the reg, cleaned and lubed bolt, replace the 14x2 o-rings and the inner can 017 oring, replaced the battery and cleaned the solenoid filter and back check assembly. Still sputters on diff tanks also. I'm going to send air through the gun without the solenoid attached to see if it clears anything out of air flow chambers on the frame and I will report back.

Apparently if you over tighten the elbow on the regulator it restricts the airflow and causes the marker to sputter. Make sure it's not to tight

Im having the same problem right now. Ive cleaned/replaced orings/re lubed the reg, bolt, can, and propshaft. What elbow are you talking about on the regulator? any other ideas on what could be going on?

Try changing the battery, cleaning the solenoid and bolt completely and replacing the orings on the tank.
