Mini Noob question
Is it really necessary to use a LP ( 450 PSI) tank with the mini, or can I still using my HP ( 850 PSI) on it with out damaging the reg or solenoid?
Thanks

either hp or lp will be fine to use but i will say that its easier to screw the lp tank into the asa though

Ehhh whatever floats your boat... Really I'd just use the lp one simply because more and more people are realizing the lp creates a more consistent efficient gun.

How much more consistent does lp make your gun than hp?

It doesn't make that much of a difference.
If you're worried about the field chrono, most fields don't mind if you're floating around 280, just as long as it's not more than 300.

get an on/off asa, a delrin bolt, and turn your dwell down to 20 and that hp tank will give you no problems... It's fine without these upgrades, but my gun thanks me every day for them

The rule of thumb is you should make sure your tank output pressure is double that of your guns operating pressure. i have my mini set to 130-140psi and my adjustable ninja 68/4500 tank has all shims removed and is outputting 425psi. I never experience shoot down and can go deeper into my tank. also easier on the regs seals when using low pressure.

Heheh. It is easier because you aren't fighting as much pressure, since there is no on/off asa.
