take off the back hose for the ram and air it up, if it leaks out of the ram you know it's the ram causing the leak on the noid

Back hose of the ram? isn't that the air line which pushes the back block forward?

he knows what hes talkin about he helps mannny people with cockers
try your screws into your niod, air up your gun just enough so you can hear the leak, and lossen and or tighten your screws, to see if it stops

Might be easier to tell if you pull the front one, less noise that way, same effect. Would stress the seal in the ram a little more, too. Either way would work, you might just need some soapy water to get anywhere.
Make sure the sealing face of the 'noid housing isn't scratched up or anything, too. Not as likely, but possible.

i have no idea, i usually take off the back hose to test out for leak but it's usually not connected to the noid

thanks black kid
if you ram is leaking pressure will vent from one side to the next and cause a leak in your noid. just trying to see if your ram is causing the leak.

Not doubting his expertise, but more less trying to understand the mechanics. Please hear me out, if air is coming from LPR to the noid which then direct it to the back hose (pushing the bb forward), now by removing the back hose wouldn't the air bleed out before it gets to the ram?

I would agree, the lpr is creeping or the ram piston is leaking. Shouldn't be enough pressure to damage gasket, unless it bleeds pressure or is set too high. Removing front ram hose will show you a leak, if the ram piston is bad. You are correct that the air from the back is what closes the bolt.

if you hpr is cranked up too high you will have the same problem because the lpr will not be able to handle the pressure and as soon as you start turning up the pressure on the lpr it will easily be past the operating pressure of the noid. if that makes any sense took me a day to figure out a similar problem.
