sight rail screw size??

i picked up an old spyder compact and it didnt come with a sight rail so i just bought one, any idea what size screw is used to screw it in place? i looked all over the stickies and tried the search thing here but no luck

It's very likely a metric screw. Personally I'd take the body and sight rail (not the entire gun!) to one of your local hardware stores and match it up. If you have an ACE hardware in your area it's typically your best bet, if they don't have what you need they will tell you where you can get it.

Correct, it's a metric size. Spyder sight rails take an M4x8 screw with a washer.
