We traded guns, here's what it is pretty much, giving you guys an idea on what he's starting with.
Classic pf body
classic valve
AM/MM rail
intelliframe blade trigger, nickle plated
cf frame
basic gas thru forgrips
twistlock/AC barrel converter
Just a basic work horse classic mag...

An on/off asa is such a convenient thing, id look to get one of those first.
Also Id get a feel for how the gun shoulders and how comfy it is with and without the drop forward. You may find you like it sans drop better, which makes for an easy, free upgrade via addition by subtraction.
Beyond that most mag owners will agree a level 10 bolt kit is the first and best upgrade you can get for a mag.

I'd rather not get the LVL 10 because of all the tuning... but he gave me a on/ off cp dropforward !

the tuning really isn't as scary as people think. If you know what you are doing you can install and tune a level 10 in a couple minutes with very little trial and error.

LVL 10 bolts are awesome. Nothing like sticking your finger in a gun and pulling the trigger a couple of times to watch it bounce off......
I highly recommend a lvl10 bolt. I own mainly electros, but I always find myself buying mags with a lvl 10 bolt to play with on rec days. On a classic its not as necessary as long as you have a decent hopper on it.

You can "oil" it by removing the macro line near the valve and put 2 or 3 drops straight in to the 90* fitting on the valve. When you air it up shoot it a few times without the barrel so as not to coat the inside of the barrel with oil.

Lvl x is a great upgrade. Its not hard to tune at all. Ule trigger is great too. It makes the pull so light.
