That's pretty drastic. Need to find some youngblood up at VT!
HEADS UP!!! They are doing some construction on I-575 if your route takes you north on 575 from any exit 7 or lower (Town Lake Pkwy I believe) the highway will be closed down and detour routes will be labeled to divert traffic. They are starting the construction at 10pm Friday and will last until Sunday.

Sure thing! We will be setting up the layout on Friday. So all teams should have a chance to look at it when they show up.

If you guys have any suggestions on the field/reffing/logistics/etc. please feel free to comment! Our field owner is always looking to improve everything they can with the field. Feel free to be critical. Post here, PM me, email me, call me, facebook me. Whatever is easiest for you. I will relay the information to Mario. Please encourage all your players to input their thoughts. Nitro is always looking for any way to improve.

Spoke with Mario a lot throughout the day, great guy and very willing to help people out.
Positives: Great viewing area, nice pits, nice field surface (can't blame them for the mud, I definitely saw new grass growth), Scoreboards in pits.
Needs: Air in the pits, bathroom closer to the field.
All in all, it was a great event. Competition was high, reffing was fair and consistent.
I really want our conference to do well at Nationals and to support each other throughout the weekend, except when we play KSU or UT... obviously.
See you all in Lakeland

I just want to give some love to Nitro and comment on how enjoyable this event was. Its easy to tell that Mario cares about the teams and their experience at nitro. He was easy to talk to and all our interactions with him were nothing but great. The field itself is probably one of the nicest fields I've been to in a while. The raised side for spectators is spectacular and I think all fields should do it. The newly built pits were awesome. I actually hope LU does something similar in the near future haha. I would have to agree with my coach about putting air in the pits and having closer bathrooms as improvements. The one thing I would add is maybe give some kind of direction as to where to go close to the parking lot entrance. I know when we showed up we were all like "Wait where's the field? Where do we go? Are we at the wrong field?" Other than that, Nitro is a top notch field and I think teams shouldn't pass up the chance to play at this field.
Also, I noticed some photographers there. Any chance they will put their pictures on the web?
