So i just got a reflex rail, and i went to shoot it with about 2000 in my tank. I started firing and on every shot there was a REALLY loud screeching noise, and it destroyed the 2000psi in my tank in about a hopper and a half. I made sure that the bolt was lubed up before I shot it.

It was about 30 degrees Fahrenheit outside if that matters. The reflex also has the techt l7 bolt in it.

any ideas?

About the really bad efficiency I don't know, but the Tech-t bolts for the Reflex rails when they first came out had some bad batches where the plug would screech. So I'd recommend calling them up and getting the fix.

Alright thanks man. Ill give them a call when I get home. Do you think the inefficiency is because itbwas very cold out? Like below freezing?

My 2 cents. The cold can affect efficiency, especially in spool valves. There could be a few things working against you though.
One, what was the gun chrono'd at? Could have been high and maybe you didn't notice just by shooting.
Two, how good was the paint to barrel bore match? If you over bored, more air escaped for each shot.
Three, when you say hopper and a half, what size hopper (how many balls)? Some hoppers are bigger than others (a Prophecy can hold more than a standard Rotor).
Four, if you truly are having issues with the TechT bolt, that could contribute to poorer efficiency.
Lastly, 2000 PSI is usually the warning mark for me that I only have a few pods left anyway. I will get a fresh fill before playing the next game just to be sure. Hope this helps.

1. idk what it was chronod at i havent been at a field with it yet. Im assuming its too high because i read that only thr first shot screeches because of ABS.
2. the match was ok at best, the cold definitely made it smaller, but it wasnt over bored by enough to make that much ofa difference because i was still hitting a small target at like 50 meters. if too much was escaping i probably wouldnt get the distance.

4. i never adjusted dwell or psi when i got the bolt, couldnt anyway i dont have a chrono.
5. yeah i only had air because i tried the gun at my buddies house who had some air left from the previous time we went paintballing.

Well you didn't mention what size tank you have, with a 48 CI that doesn't sound horrible as for the rest.....With my L7 bolt I had to drop my PSI down to 100 and Dwell down to 12/13 in 30-40 degree weather and this makes my gun shoot around 295 with a good underbore on paint. The screech fix like said above is a little cap that you can get for free from Techt, is just goes on the back side of the bolt. Good luck with the rest I really like my L7 bolt after I got the fix installed.
