and I have a nerve and a (currently) extra ton ton frame, both in pewter. Maybe I should mount the frame on the nerve and take a pic for everyone then. And then Yankus can post up a picture of rocking horse sh*t too.

An idea for a improvement. Make an eye cover that is retained by the detent. Similar to how the Shocker eye cover is retained.

Nope. I made a custom bolt back in the day though. Sent it out for testers to use in their nerves and never got it back unfortunately. Meh, my fault, I was 15 and stupid....

But as far as other mods go, nothing really happened with them that I'm aware of.

If any mods ever are going to be made, I will gladly throw my money away to buy one of the mods. especially if a balanced poppet mod was made.
Or a new LPR, because mine is sadly stripped so I can't really adjust it

How about a new bolt? Could you get a hold of a pooty nodded cure 4 and copy it into a nerve bolt? Orings and all the fancy magic that is the cure 4 lol? Would love to see lighter valve spring options to get this thing down in like the 130 psi range. Maybe a lighter full delrin ram to go with it? That in my mind would make the nerve perfect.

I'm with the frozen shaft on this one!

Any kind of upgraded bolt would be top on my list, I can't even find a NDZ equalizer anywhere. Im stock and its aggravating me that i cant find any parts.

I should mention it's possible to modify the stock bolt to boost velocity a bit. It's a mod I used to perform back in the day...basically you take some epoxy and let it cure in the corner of the air transfer hole, which helps to round off the internal corner.
What I used to do is position the bolt up at a 45 angle, then put some epoxy in the corner of the hole...let it dry for a day, then put another layer in...let it dry, repeat and repeat about 6-8 times until the layers build up to make a nice smooth rounded edge.

I always saw a velocity increase just from that alone, sometimes as much as 30-fps or thereabouts. it depends on how well the mod is formed, hard to predict.

If you guys really wanted I could make some new bolts. But the benefit would be the same as what I mentioned above, same as the old NDZ bolts, for much cheaper

I would buy one. Could you cure 4 mod it for less ball stack clipping? Would orings increase fps? Stock seems like it would let a lot of air around the bolt. My stock bolt has wear on the back of the pin and moves .5 or more mm in the ram so I don't know how much life it has left.

I am totally in for this. I have paypal, and patience.

Not to be too OT, but thank you Ydna for running such a great website! It is an invaluable resource to me, being both a Nerve and Impulse owner. Just wanted to express my thanks since you are here.
