Rotor + pump = Almost Shortstroke proof.

I use rotors on pumps (or revvys for zazz and soul) ALL the time. Whenever I'min an "oh ****!" moment, I can not worry about chopping balls via short-stroke.

I don't have a pump any more (the Sniper might be my next one), but a Rotor should do fine. I do like stock play, though. Newer setups are giving many semi-autos a run for their money, certainly at the lower end. It's like taking a Formula One car, using the gas only half the time, but calling it a production car.
