Air efficiency?
How many pods can a luxe 2.0 typically shoot?

You'll see some folks come in here and brag about how they get 27 pods and still have 4.4k of air left on their 45 ci tank, but in general you can reliably expect a hopper and 7-8 pods off a 68/4500 with a good fill perhaps with a little air to spare.

I think poop is right. It gets pretty average efficiency. I never sweat efficiency too much because where I play I can always fill easily. That is of course if the efficiency is noticeably bad.
Then again, i didn't get a luxe for the efficiency.

I am really considering getting a Luxe. What is the actual efficiency? Off a 68/45 and a 70/45.

A 68-45 should get you about 8 pods.
Of course, you can add an EFRod and up that a pod or 2!

My two teammates have been shooting basically brand new Luxes the past couple Sundays.
One is a 1.5 with a NDZ can, and I think spring mod, and a Stock 2.0 Core.
They've been shooting everything in their pack (About 5 pods) and a Hi-Cap Rotor with 2k air left (Filling to 4300 PSI). They are also using matching bore Freak Inserts with their Luxes.

if you really know what your doing you can get some pretty good effiency out of your luxe
on my last luxe it had around 120 cases on it, dropped the dwell a couple points, .679 bore and I was shooting 9 pods and a rotor and still had around 1000 psi left in my 68-45 tank
oh and mine was all stock no ef rod
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^thats the best that i have ever seen with my own eyes, i have heard someone say they get 17 but i doubt that highly

As long as you keep your o-rings well maintained and break the gun in you'll be fine. I play a lot of xball and I never have run out of air with my stock 1.0 luxe.

Team is getting at least 8pods and hopper on 68/4500 filled to 4000. My personal one after 8 pods my 68/4500 has approximately 800psi left.

Wouldn't the 2.0 spring bolt system increase efficiency too? So the 2.0 system just gets rid of fsdo with no air efficiency gains? I would assume the 2.0 would get at least 10 pods of a 68 not 8 like the 1.0 because of lower dwell settings. Just asking because I'm not sure if I want to buy the 2.0 system myself.

I'm sure someone that has one could tell u a little better but as far as I know and have heard there is no real noticeable gain in efficiency using the 2.0 engine vs a well tuned and broken in 1.0.

U should be able to get that. I used to use a 50/45 with mine and could get 5 pods and a hopper.
