New 68 Classic Automag

I just purchased a brand new (never used) AGD Classic Automag. Since it has never been used or fired what are some precautions or maintenance that i should I do to the marker before I air it up and play with it?

Thanks for the Info. I think I paid a bit much for it since I was the only bidder but I wanted it so I don't really care. I paid $125 for the stock 68 Classic Automag with it's original box and everything in it. Marker had only been taken out of the box for pictures. Never fired.

Its the kind of thing that can sometimes get no bids, and sometimes there can be a bidding war. If your going to use it, you definitely overpaid.

How so? Used classics are going for that much. I would have paid that and then some.

Depending on the upgrades they go for $100-150+ used.

NIB at $125 is a great deal.

NIB with original box, VHS manual, paper manual, small parts kit, and warranty card. Just got it in the mail a few minutes ago. The picture doesn't do it justice. It now has an old school 12 inch black J&J Performance Pro 1 barrel on it. Enjoy!

Serial number is: CF48626 is it possible to get a general manufacturing date from the SN?

ASA, 45 degree elbow, Stainless steel hose, and fittings are in the mail. I love income tax time lol

You can't beat new. Even if you over paid by $25, it was worth it.

I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire two hundred shots or one hundred and ninety nine?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is an automag, the best marker in the world, and would blow your nuts clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

Yes which is nice. If I so see fit I do have the older style 68 Classic Automag body in my collection of spare parts i've collected over the years laying around somewhere that I can slap on it. Although I do like the powerfeed better. More of a better look in my opinion.

Well it looks like I will have to wait until Saturday when my new parts come in to take a video of the marker shooting. I ordered a basic ASA for it thinking it would have air holes on either side like they used to but it only has it on one side...not the side I want it on. Also, the dang Macroline fittings I purchased don't have any teflon tape on them like the usually do when they are new so I will have to go purchase some teflon tape tomorrow.

Minor setback but it will be worth it to get it the way I want it.
