As many of you may know we had VOTM threads last year. There was a period where people were posting videos, but about half way through the year people stopped contributing. I know alot of people would like to edit videos, but they either dont have the money for equipment, or time to go out and film. Every other month we will be having a contest, NO PRIZES, but you do get to hear feed back from people who have some knowledge about filming. Every contest will be different.
This moth is going to be a "motivational" video since they seem to be popular around here.
So this is what we want for this contest. You are to take whatever footage is provided and make a video that will get people pumped. It doesnt have to be long, it can contain a speech (make sure to give credit to the person giving the speech), it can contain music (just remember youtube can take down your video if the music is copy written), but it cant contain any footage that we didnt provide. We do this because we want everyone to have a fair chance. You will have this month to make the video, about a quarter into the next month we will begin voting for a winner. We are hoping to get judges that know what they are talking about when it comes to paintball videos. After a winner is chosen you get a e-high five and then the next contest starts.


Videos need to be posted by: March 9th 11pm est

Rules

• Use footage provided to keep a level playing field
• Give credit where credit is due
• Dont break any of youtube's terms of use rules or PB Nations terms of use rules
• If you are given Constructive Critisism dont get mad, you should expect some CC if you are entering
• Keep everything positive, we dont want sore losers
• Dont illegally download software

Personally, I prefer Premiere. It integrates well with After Effects which provides a smooth work flow.

Premier is smoother at least from what i've seen

Awesome. Will be doing this once I'm out from behind this firewall. Also had mixed responses from the Music community on here some were fine with us using there stuff some were adamantly against it.

Premier works well with after affects, and final cut X (newest release) is bloody terrible.
