Did a ****-ton of pistol drills with my safariland ALS holster... I'm now pretty quick with it. I also had to un-learn my old draw I used with the Blackhawk SERPA. Took a while.

Ok.... scratch that. My timeline is being extended a bit, because I'm a bit of a flake, and because my computer took a **** on me, and I have to use my iPhone. FML.

For reals. Can't use your pistol to get to another rifle if you don't know how shoot something with said pistol.

Pictures will follow soon-ish. iPhone sucks right now.
My list:
Most of my **** was either stolen from other people or bought from ares armor, which a friend is a part owner of.
(edit- random asterisks popped up in it from the copy/paste I did on my iPhone notepad to here)
Pistol stuff:
M9, safariland ALS on a drop-leg platform. *I also have a paddle attachment.
Fobus paddle holster
And if I had the time/money, I'd get a true concealed holster.
Pistol lanyard. *Anything but blackhawk.
Rifle
M4, didn't want a 203 due to weight.
Trijicon acog.
Magpul M.I.A.D. Grip with AA batteries *inside of it. *
Magpul B.A.D. Lever
BCM medium charging handle
Magpul window mags with ranger plates (not pictured, I have 7)
Rubber ladder thingy's to cover the rails. *They might be Magpul, not sure. Comfy as hell, though.
Ares Armor Huskey 2-point sling. *Best sling out there.
Peq-15
Random QD front sling attachment.
Flak:
I try to run as light and fast as possible, when possible.
USMC SPC, with MTV cummerbund.
3 mags in kangaroo pouch, with random tabs to secure them.
2 mags in unknown mag holder, with two pistol mags. *Pistol mags have magnets holding them in place.
I run six rifle mags, 5 on me and one in the gun, and three pistol mags total.
Medical fanny pack is from ares armor. *Carries more **** than an IFAK, and can be reached by either arm, and tossed to others. *Has tourniquet in an elastic band. *Works well, is comfy.
Folding dump pouch, I think made by spec ops? It's super small when folded up.
Dual-tipped sharpie, and Bic round stic. Best pens ever.
Foam taped to the shoulder pads. *Comfy.
Direct-attach 3L camelback. *Lowest profile way to carry water.
I always carry extra pens, two med/small notebooks, a small camera, my garmin 401 wrist gps, my Casio F-91W terrorist watch, and Oakley shades. *I wear mechanix gloves. *Bates lights or rocky sv2 boots. *SmartWool Ph.d. Medium cushion socks. *Smokes and a lighter.
Other random **** I like:
Alite butterfly chair thing from REI.
Thermos- one big, one little. *Water heater for tea. *Nalgene bottle.
Snugpak sleeping bag (small one) for summer ops, and when I travel.
Rainbow leather sandals.
REI microfiber towel, xxxl.
Mystery ranch 3DAP, for trips to other patrol bases.
Netbook/small laptop with external HD.
Nook
iPod
Ihome/speakers with alarm clock function.
Shemagh
Headphones
Knives. Benchmade, gerber.
Leatherman wave.
Job stuff (most of this is issued/waiting for me Downrange)....
Good writing gear, waterproofable and able to fit in a cargo pocket. *Bigger the better for ease of writing.
Voice recorder.
Camera/video camera
Work laptop.
Work sat dish.
Sat phone.
Pashto guides from schools (including dictionary)
Islam guides from courses I've been to.
Copy of koran
Combo locks for secrets.
Clear tape for waterproofing small things/papers.
550 cord roll.
Waterproofing bags (small/medium)
Tea set with lots of tea bags and sugar. *Honey to be mailed to me.
....updates are continuous.

Haha. I don't even carry that ****. Usually just my rifle, when I'm on patrol.
The guys who are hitting us are basically invulnerable to 5.56. 40mm is most effective on these guys.
