Insanity? Anyone?

I'm sure it's been posted in here a few times but, being that I am too busy and don't care enough to search through the other pages of this forum, I figured this would suffice.

I am now 2.5 weeks into this workout routine called INSANITY. And to be honest, I recommend ANY paintball player to get into it. The cardio is ridiculous and it has you consistently pushing to do better as much as possible. You know. Kind of like being a few points down in an X-ball match and forcing yourself to put up a fight and go for the gold.

I'm only 2.5 weeks in. I'm seeing changes and better things coming of this. Keep in mind that, before starting, weighed 163 lbs. I am NOT going for weight loss. I am going for definition and rise in cardio limits. Most of all, this is kind of my pre-emptive strike to getting back in the gym harder than I have ever before. I think of this program like a 60 day steroid to make the transition easier.

I can not wait for the program to be done and I can get back onto the field. I only played once since my start and noticed by leaps and bounds a rise in my agility, resistance to strains, and comfort on the field.

Has anyone else jumped on this INSANITY bandwagon? I borderline guarantee you, that this program will help you on the field and as a person over all.

Definitely exactly the type of workout I'd recommend for paintball. Thanks for sharing your experience. As a general warning, people in this subforum are usually tryna get big as hell, but I encourage people to evaluate all aspects of fitness

Stick with it bro, P90X is very similar to insanity if you get bored with the same vids

If you're not in good enough shape to play paintball, you've been living life wrong.

Pretty sure no one in this sub-forum plays paintball anymore. Glad you're having a positive experience with it though, homesickle. It obviously won't yield the type of results heavy/weighted resistance training will, but you seem to know that anyway.

Jeeeeesus. So much for making an educational post then having the agglets jump all over it eh?

Simple questions asking who has tried it out.

Am I in shape to play paintball? yeah. But, I also haven't had so much as a snap shot in about 6 months due to moving to San Diego. I'm getting back into the **** hole of a sport and dumping my money so I thought it might help to be in better shape than I am now.

Good on you. People underestimate the benefits and overall good feeling of actual cardio fitness. I miss being able to run 6-min miles, 12-min 2-miles and a <35 5-mile.

for doing something healthy.
