CCM Valve
Did CCM make a brass valve? I just picked up a ccm,d marker took it apart to check the internals and there is a brass colored valve, looks like a CCM valve just not blue colored. Also does anybody find the CCM valve spring too light?

I asked this question as well a while back and the answer I got was that they only have blue valves. However, I have come to believe that this is misinformation because right on the ccm website they say they have brass valves.

Theoretically, brass would be better than aluminum, since the steel valve stem will eventually gall the aluminum valve body, but it's not a huge issue. The design of the valve matters a lot more than the material, and there aren't a whole lot of valves out there that make a substantial difference in performance by themselves.

I have a chance to swap mine out for a brass one, I was debating if its worth my time or not. but I am thinking of going with a heavier valve spring so I may just swap the brass valve, performance or not. Just not sure on how heavy to go yet.

We started making brass valves about 6-8 months ago.
