Victory Help! Pink solid light on board!
The light on my new Ripper Victory is a solid pink color, its not red though. I have sent the gun in to Bob Long and they said the gun was working fine. The LED light is always blue until a ball is in the breach, then it becomes the solid pink color. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks, the gun keeps chopping balls though. I have changed barrels, used different paint and different hoppers. I cannot seem to figure out why it chops, it only happens when I rip on it.

Could be cause of bad settings, reset the board back to factory settings and see what that does.

Chops are different from barrel/breach breaks; markers with eyes rarely, if ever, actually chop these days. What paint are you using? What hopper? Is it cold out where you are to the point the paint may becoming too brittle?

he may be saying that the light is blue like normal then when you block the eye and unblock it, the LED remains pink meaning the gun still thinks there is something breaking the eyes. I've seen this before on my nephews vic but never mine. I do not know what causes it either. Am i correct that this is your situation? this could most def cause chops.

Ya, you are right Tabris, it is breaking in the barrel. I have tried different bores and different barrels. It is not cold where I am either. I have also tried 3 different types of paint, marb, premium and evil. As soon as I start to rip on it I get barrel breaks. I have no clue what to do. Please help.

I did try using a bigger bore, I went up to a .691 and i was still getting barrel breaks. Is it possible there is a problem with where the barrel threads to the gun?

it is possible, but unless you see some dmg int he breach area or the back end of the barrel then no. Doubtful its the barrerl since you said you tried different ones, do a quick visual check of the breach area.
Also I know it is common sense but dbl check air pressures and battery, both of these things have cause me to have breaks in other markers. I had one where there was a tiny almost noiseless leak in the 360 reg and the marker was breaking more paint until I fixed the leak.

usually at that point, it could be the HPR pressure is to high.
If you get to the 270-300+ psi range on the hpr, the force of the air is to much for the paint to handle. Now the only what that is possible to get that high is if you didn't use a pressure tester to set your regs or your regs are creeping.
But you could still always check make sure there are no burs in the breach or barrel area.

Another stupid thing you could try is borrowing a friends barrel. I had a buddy with a VX'd clone who couldnt' figure out for the life of him why he kept brekaing paint and it was a badly damaged barrel ( i think it was bent)

I tried many different barrels, nothing seemed to work. I used the pressure tester and everything is in the norm. I just think I got a defective marker.

im the OP's friend. today we got it working alot better after stretching out the detent springs a little bit because it turns out, it was double feeding. that worked for a while but it still barrel broke a little and seemed to actually chop once (paint was on bolt) also, you could hold the trigger down at a certain point and it would go full auto even though it is in semi. which we were out of paint at this point to try backing out the trigger and debounce, but the tech seemed to think that the micro switch wasnt depressing enough before pressing in again. thoughts?

Adjust the pull if you're finding a sweet spot or put the spring back in the trigger is there is not one there.
If you're detents are bad, replace them, they're rather cheap if you're using the plastic ones. I doubt you have the metal Super D's. If you're getting double feeds the detents are more then likely the issue, they'll come with new springs too or at least they should.
