I switched from Cybertech to Biochem as I wasn't really using Cybertech that much. Started listing my crafting materials on the GTM and I think I may have priced my stuff a little too low. The stuff is selling like hot cakes. Oh well... Wasn't going to use it anyway.

I typically run some combination of slicing/bio analysis/scavenging/UW trading and it works well. 350k credits at level 26 on my Republic toon, 400k credits at level 33 on my Empire toon. I just sold some UW metal (less than 10) for like 80k credits.

Nice. I think I spent like 20k in reserve fees so hopefully there is some decent return on this stuff. I like biochem for the medpacs, stims, and adrenals so I think I have it on pretty much all my characters. I do need to start focusing on making credits so I might start running more diplomacy missions and selling the rewards.

There should be one on each planet as well as a whole wing on fleet. No market price guide but you can look up what you are selling.
Edit: There is a galactic market kiosk filter on the map. If you are on a planet, go to the market and there should be one there.

Had two full stacks of Corsuca gems that I sold for 7k each. Gave a 6k bulk discount because, well, I'm a nice guy. :3
And I still have more. I've had pretty much every single 300+ treasure hunting mission on lockdown for the last week or so. Five companions running 340 missions all day every day is pretty satisfying. Holding a monopoly and destroying the market feels pretty good, man. People started to identify it though, and now prices are rocketing, heh; like 25k-30k for one map on a good day. But I did buy 10 for 150k the other day.
I'm considering making the transition to Biochem though. The dps bonus that some of the adrenals and stims provide seem ridiculously good, to the point that it could increase my overall damage output by like 20%+.

I pick up so much stuff with Scavenging/Slicing.
I've sold huge stacks for like 20-60K in the A/H of my Scavenging stuff.

I still think slicing is the most profitable crew skill right now. Probably by a large margin too.
I really really enjoy Artifice, and its supplemental skills though (Treasure Hunting and Archaeology). Plus, Rakata relics are ridiculously good. Basically a 50% increase to damage every 2 minutes.
Well that might exaggerating a bit, but the increase is quite large.

I had an almost 400 Cybertech, but dumped it for Slicing.
So now I have Slicing/Scavenging/Underworld. I simply use it for profit.
Slicing is obvious.
Scavenging I pick up stuff all over planets, and A/H it.
Underworld I use for Companion gifts, and sell other stuff I may get.

I need to figure out how to start selling my junk on the GTN so I can make back some of the investment I made on scavenging and bioanalysis

Crafting Material > Bioanalysis/Scavening, find average/cheapest listed price, undercut = profit.

Ill have to check that out. By the way, whoever told me that the robot was useless to sent on skill missions was wrong for Sith Warriors. He does earn XP and brings back comparable levels of loot.

The problem with the droid is since you can't gain affection with him, he has the lowest chance to return with successful missions. He can still be used, he'll just fail more than any of your other companions you've got affection with.

I told you he could unless you are talking about someone else. As long as the missions are green (+1), yellow (+1 or +2), or orange (+2), he will raise your mission level. He has a higher chance of failure and is less likely to get a critical but it is better than just letting him sit their on the ship. If I have to listen to his annoying *** remarks, he might as well make me some money. Once you get some more companions, I usually send the ones with the highest affection on orange or long missions and then the droid last on missions for the "cheap" stuff.
Mustang, if you want to swap out Diffusion for Ilitvez on the first page I'd appreciate it. I think my Operative is on hold. Pyro Powertech builds are too much fun and easy to rack up medals.

Ok so I am going to create a character on Sith Wyrm Server (Empire Side) and was curious if you guys are in a guild or planning on creating one anytime soon. If so, what class are you guys needing to help out?

We started one up just so it was easier than trying to friend everyone. You can whisper us and we can add you to the guild. As far as what character we need, I don't think we've gotten to the point where we need something specific. Usually we are all off doing our own things. I think we are all currently DPS builds currently so a healer or a tank would be beneficial.
Edit: Mustang may be a tank build.

I use the droid for crew missions because Jaesa is almost always with me (unless operations or heroic flashpoints). I fail maybe 1/100 Treasure Maps with all of my companions, and it's usually Vette that fails.

slicing to 50, along with a crafting skill and one complimentary gathering skill.. then dropping slicing for the second complimentary gathering skill is the way to go.
Crafted 4 purple synthweaving (patterns from hard mode ops) pieces last night, proc'd 2 mastercrafts (use your companion with +crit to that crafting skill) and got 600k from those two pieces alone. 80k each from the other 2. Then again I'm republic and there's far less people crafting stuff.
