what are some good tournament guns

i am new to the sport and plan to get into tournaments and i would like to know what guns i should look at that are around the $300 to $400 price range

For the price, you cannot beat getting a 2005 Bob Long intimidator. My 05 Alias performs phenomenally. There's a reason Bob Long changed the market with those guns.

Minimum Maintenance, extreme durability, and all for around $200 nowadays.

other alternatives would be:

Egos from same year
Shocker (if you don;t mind some maintenance)
older Dyes and Protos
Etek
Proto Rail

Today for that price range you could get Etek 3's. Empire Axe. Ego 7. BL Vice. Shockers and maybe some others one but I just woke up so its all i could think of.

Research the differences between spool valve, in-line poppets, and stacked-tube poppets, then look up different guns which fit the one you think you will like the most.

Dp Fx would work for you as well, solid marker, shoots great, has some upgrades for down the line, has a great board with all of the tourney settings including a lock down mode. Easy to maintain, doesn't have some of the other Dp quirks.
