Hello all,

I've decided to get back into paintball now that I have some free time. I can't decide to either pick up my old marker or get a new Drone DX.

I own a custom mechanical auto-cocker with a blue 2002 stock WGP body (what I bought it new as). It has complete Freeflow internals, Freeflow chrome slider trigger, chrome Bellsales (sp) Hollowpoint 3-way, chrome STO RAM, chrome Palmers Mini-Reg, AKA Sidewinder inline reg, AKA Lightning (teflon-y?) bolt, black Freeflow beavertail..yada yada.

I also own a Dye Ultralight and what's cool is the Drone is autococker threaded so I'd be able to use that barrel if I decide to go new.

Should I put in the effort and unknown amount of funds of getting this gun shooting again? It looks beautiful and shot like a dream back in the day. Had it pinching balls and kept my HPA going all day. Or...should I just go ahead and buy a new Drone DX...maybe be able to trade or sell this autococker?

I've come to regret ever getting rid of any marker i've sold. I'd say roll with the cocker, shouldn't be difficult to get it going again. Would definitely get brownie points with me running a mech in an electro world.

honestly it sounds like your gun just needs rebuilt imo pick up another gun doesn't have to be a drone but i would, you probably will only need some orings, lube, and oil to get that cocker working.
