Attention****** Nerf Pricing
Okay guys, I'm doing some research and need some feed back from the Tanker / Anti Tanker community.
First off, are you guys interested in the purchase and use of Nerf Howler's? Not these new model large rockets, the old 2 inch Howlers we cant get any more.
If so, considering the price of Nerf's now, what is a fair price you would buy them at? Also consider shipping when your considering that.
What I am doing is trying to dicide if it is economically viable for me to import and sell these. Most likely I'd sell them on Ebay and it would be orders of at least 10 or 20 but no fewer.
Anyway, if you guys would, consider this for a minute and give me your thoughts. Thank you guys/ladies!

while ive never used the howlers, i would be interested.
I find the vortexs for about $3 each at local (nj/ny) big lots
on a regular basis. TRU is selling the new ones for 4.99.
I would be willing to pay btwn those two prices for howlers.

KMart currently has the new and old Nerf rockets on sale for $3.59. May get them a little cheaper with their bonus card.

What I am talking about is the 2 inch Howlers which Hasbro no longer sells. Now the reason I pose this is we can stil get the regular Nerf. These are more a novelty since they whistle as they go down range.
Thats really the whole reason I'm curious if any one will buy them. I can sell a few hundred a year to my own team, and probably will. Just curious if there is a desire from the rest of the crews.
Treaddz, my real question I guess is, Is a novelty noise making Nerf worth spending $.50 to $1.00 more? I think there cool so I'm gonna be useing them, but at the same time people are gonna know your shooting at them. But I think it adds a bit when they are zipping across the field sounding like a mini artillery round coming in. I had one that I never recovered. I did how ever hear it get shot back in my direction. Sounded awesome. I want to hear it more. Hopefully by Fulda I will have ODX useing them so you can get a good ideal of a decent amount of them in use at an event.

I like the howlers. But there was a type that did not easily fit down a 2" barrel. That was the kind where the two howling pads were connected by a plastic rod though the nerf. The ones where the pads were glued to the nerf fit a lot easier.

I was thinking like the Howler I had only had one pad. But tis somethinG I shall check when I get some of these in. One shippment wont break me if no one buys them, but I'll deffinetly be using Howlers for the next three or four years.

Jester, I have never seen the 2" Howlers or them in action. I have only see the 3" on occasion at Fulda. I think it would be a cool effect to have the 2" ones blasting around on the field. If the 2" ones were available I might splerge and buy a few even to pay a added cost. The past year or so I have done what I can just to find and buy the regular new and older Nerfs. When I come to Fulda later this year hold onto one for me so I can try it out.

Dont the howlers have a very hard piece of plastic similar to a whistle on them? Would it be worth seeing if your local producer will allow them first, sounds like it may be a safety issue if its what im thinking, if im wrong sorry just trying to save you some money if they arent approved by game director.

Yeah, its not an issue where I play (CDWC) but it might be something people would want to check on with their home fields. Most likely I wouldnt see any kind of issue. They've always been accepted in the past and the only difference now is the name of the importer. But it is always good to ask.

Me too! I have about a dozen of the 2" howlers still in my "Nerf box". I've never had a problem with using them at any field, so far. I'd buy some of ya, PM me with details.

Okay cool. I'm really shooting for $4 a piece. I'll know for sure after I place my first order but that should be what were looking at.

Sounds very good. I'll put aside at least $100 and will try to set aside more. Is there any numbers that work better for ordering? Seems that the regular Pocket Vortex/Aero rockets come 12 to a box. If that's true for the Howlers as well seems that orders in groups of 12 would be easier for you.
