Well, if you throw a 12 gram adapter on it and use it as a pistol you'll be pretty much on par with the T8 I plan on bringing (and I'm sure enough old timers will be there to lend you a 12 gram adapter, I should have a couple somewhere myself). Maybe even with a small (very small) vertical tank.

But with a tank to shoulder, well, then it's basically a pump you aren't pumping. A bit too far outside the theme if you ask me. Same reason I don't bring my T9. The added stability of having something to shoulder and longer sight path offsets the 8 shot limitation (believe me, I'm a much better shot with it), making the semi-auto aspect too strong. Plus you'll end up with everyone just throwing a stick feed on their tournament guns.

Of course this is all my personal opinion and I have no real say on the matter, so please wait for an official response.

The following are permitted for Pump nights:

--Open-Class Pump Guns
--Stock-Class Pump Guns
--PISTOLS (magazine fed with single 12 gram)

Nothing else. We have rental Sl-68'2s available also.

Just got back, had a blast! If you were there I was the one that looked like a lumberjack.

The paint was seriously some of the best paint for pump play I have ever seen. A proper .687 for the old Sheridan, didn't break one ball in the barrel of my pumps, and almost no bounces. If it hit, it broke.

A bit too brittle for the T8 pistol, but those are always touchy anyways.

Only down side was the damn traffic on the way there, took me nearly two hours to get there.

How much do you guys usually shoot during one of these pump nights?

I thought pump was for those who wanted to save money.

$20 for entry and $20 for a bag? Sounds like open play with a season pass would be a better value.

There's more to pump night than just saving money, though if you do the math you do save a bit. I played all night on a single bag of 500, and that's with using my open class pump most of the night. If I really wanted to save I could have made 100-200 last the night playing stock class or pistol.

For open play speedball I generally go through a case, which is $60 even with the season pass (unless there's a price break not listed here... http://www.airassaultpaintball.com/field.php ). That's $20 more than what I paid for entry and paint.

It's the "funnest" paintball period. Every time we have a pump night, I see more and more players (of all types) checking it out and realizing what a good time it is.

i hope you might consider to put the pump event on saturday instead of friday one day?

friday makes me grumpy person when i work all day then drive in long traffic. i know that i am whine. that is why i skipped it to go home directly and rest to refresh myself for next day to play on sat and sun rather.

With paying entry & $20/bag pricing I actually spend more then I would on a typical day but it is a lot of fun.
