Geo2 vs Clone
I've owned a lot of guns in my day, I currently am on my 4th geo2 an am looking for a little change. What does everyone think of a clone (v1 v2 vx) compared to the geo2?

i too belive a clone vx is the best choice. they are extremly smooth and also decently efficent. not to mention the great macdev customer service and craftsmenship.

both are amazing
the geo felt tight while the clone felt more natural in my hands
the clone will be smoother
efficiency for me was very close, i really only got 1400-1500 with my vxs
Maintenance wise the geo seemed to be a bit more user friendly. Too little grease and it shoots, too much and it shoots. The clone liked just the right amount. A little too much and id get a tad of fsdo. Didnt have any real problems with either, both were reliable for me.
Both have amazing boards
geo screen is bigger but uses lcd
Clone screen is smaller but uses oled which is suppose to last longer/pixels dont die as much and uses less batter.
Both have great barrels, regs, feednecks, and asa's
Hope that helps. Clones are my preffered marker overall.

i had a geo2 and traded up and got a clone vx.... it is by far the nicest spool i ever shoot. the clone is more efficient, smoother, quiter, and less temperamental than the geo u wont make a mistake getting one!

As long as it has the gold bolt, it a good choice. But if you can find an extra Franklin, get the VX kit.
Then again, depending on what you're looking at, it may be cheaper just to get a VX.

The v2s are almost exactly the same. If I'm not mistaken if it isn't vx'd there was an oring shredding problem

o ring shredding is a potential issue for v1 and v2 drive trains. it is really hit or miss, the v1 keg I have actually shreds less (if at all) than the v2. Regardless even with that issue a v1/v2 clone IMO is superior to a geo2.

My V1 clone actually cut the valve oring in pieces leaving horrible air efficiency( A hopper and 6 pods at most). But those problems are gone as most of them are V2 or VX. Get a V2 clone or one with a VX drivetrain, If you do get an V2, you can always buy the VX drivetrain later on.
And as they say, the Clone will be more efficient then an Geo2 if it is the V2 or VX.
If you have an V1/V2 clone and it is shredding the middle valve oring, an viton oring will probably fix the issue.
