Adding an email account to my iPhone...
Ok, so to start off, I am not exactly an idiot when it comes to technology. I know my way around. However, when it comes to adding my KilaProducts email to my iPhone, I have been unsuccessful. I have the iPhone 4S.
I go to Settings;Mail/contacts/others;Add Account;Other; And here is where I get stuck..
After I enter in my Name Email Address and Password, it asks for
"Incoming Mail Server"
Host Name is required
Username is required
Password is required
Than below that:
"Outgoing Mail Server"
Hostname is required
Username is optional
Password is optional
I can't get past that point... argh. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where is your email hosted at? Like do you use a gmail-based host or are you using an email that you got from the web host for your website?

Not 100% but I'm almost positive you have to use yahoo, gmail or sync your email with outlook.

It would be a good idea to call/email GoDaddy if you don't have the IMAP/SMTP server names. It really depends on what their email infrastructure is like.

I was talking to the other dude, sorry. People (not you) come in to threads and give advice that's flat out wrong, and that helps nobody. Like this from the other day:

A few seconds later the error message changes to "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.", and then force closes outlook. Outlook will start in safe mode just fine, but not normal mode. Nothing changed with my PC between when it was working and wasn't working. It mysteriously stopped working and refuses to budge now.
I did a google search for problems/fixes and this is what I have tried so far (still broken): - Removing my mail profile and making another profile
- Microsoft .pst scanner/fixer
- Uninstall & reinstall of outlook/office
- Malwarebytes scanner
- Combofix scanner
- Kaspersky Antivirus scan
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Well I'm a 25 year old who makes a hair over $7k/month doing this for a living.
If you have no idea what you're talking about, then why even post?

This is a forum, not a doctor's office. In my mind I thought I could be right, but was unsure. Which is why I posted that I wasn't 100% on my statement.
No I don't make 7,000k a month telling people what email accounts they can or can't add to their iPhone, but I do make 2,000k a month selling iPhones so it's not like my knowledge of them is minimal.
Anyway, sorry to the OP for making an invalid statement on a paintball forum that I thought could be correct. Had I realized this was a doctors office I wouldn't have posted!

You sell iphones and yet you are under the impression that they can actively send/receive mail only if through a gmail or yahoo account?

Yes.. Because when you are adding an email account to the phone, there are 3-4 options. I guess since I only use yahoo and gmail, those are the only ones I notice.
Once again, my mistake. Had I know I would be called out by everyone over a simple incorrect response, I wouldn't have posted. But like I said at the time I truly thought that could be the right answer.
