Anyone else seen a Kaos' preference for cheaper paint?

Cheaper paint like Stinger work great in my gun, but if I switch to something a bit nicer it just eats it up then pukes pretty colors out the detent eye holes, down the barrel and up the hopper. (using gravity or force fed, stock barrel or a larger cp barrel).

Could this be because I'm using CO2 and it's making the paint more brittle the more I shoot? (a new HPA tanks arrives this monday...)
Could this an air pressure thing and blowing the ball around inside the breach, and a lower pressure might help -- would it be worth it to get the AZ regulator and lower it slightly? (I noticed the KP 2011 had a Reg added it to vs the 2010 model, and the Kaos-D,Blitz,etc have them...)

Is the Kaos (semi) just unusually harsh on paint?

It may be the fact that the Kaos shoots at a higher OP, which means it is a little harder on paintballs. The higher-end paint that breaks easier would be more likely to break in a gun like the Kaos, rather than a cheaper paint with a tougher shell.

The kaos is a lower end gun, to simply state it.

Lower end guns, no matter how high quality the aluminum it's made out of, will run at a higher operating pressure and without any "soft parts" or an LPR to run the bolt at a "safe" speed for brittle paint.

That being said, karnage's "Bite" paint is amazing and should work just fine in that gun.

ALSO: yes the kaos is harsh, if you want it to be softer, you will need to upgrade. An AKALMP Tornado valve and some Maddmann springs (both mediums) will instantly solve that problem.

The spring kit and a TechT Hush bolt or a Regulator with a nice, tight bore barrel (like a .680) may also drastically reduce your chance of paint being broken and will lead to a much more efficient gun that will shoot much more quietly and smoothly as well and with better consistency.

Just make sure to use a regulated air source, like HPA.
