Wifi Range Extender

I live on several acres of land and my shop is probably 200ft from my house. I am looking into range extenders for my WiFi so I can use devices in my shop. Does anyone have any experience with them? Whats farthest you've ever used one away from the house outside?

I have one in my room due to my router is across my house. ( didn't want to run Ethernet to my labtop,desktop,ps3,360)

I would say mine is about 300ft from router. I have no problems running multiple devices. The one I have has Ethernet ports on the back.

Most, I had was last weekend I had my sister using her labtop, my desktop playing Star Wars online, my gf on her labtop and my sister bf on playing bf3 online. I just wanted to give you idea what I was running and they actually work.

I've had tons of experience with them. Currently, I'm running an ethernet cable from my Belkin Dual-Band repeater. I've also used the Netgear wn200rpt which I was very happy with. Also have an Amped Wireless one that has some pretty ridiculous range...

If I were you, I'd go with the Amped Wireless:

Of all the repeaters/bridges I've used, this is by far the most capable, distance-wise, IMO.

Also, don't trust a lot of the review from people on Amazon/Newegg. Most of them are absolute idiots when it comes to this type of stuff. People say things like, "Can't change any settings or extended network name," despite the ability to indeed do so.

Could use a Can-Tenna or a Parabolic Dish to push the signal in a more specific direction to get a better reception.
